My alarm didn't ring
  • Check that notifications are allowed: Settings → Notifications → SimpleEvent → Allow Notifications, with Sounds turned on.
  • A Focus mode (such as Do Not Disturb or Sleep) can silence alarms. Add SimpleEvent to the allowed apps for that Focus.
  • If the ring/silent switch is set to silent, alarms show a banner but make no sound.
  • Make sure the event's Alarm switch is on and the date is in the future, then tap Save.
What do the six alarm levels mean?

The clocks use the standard message tone; the bells use a ring tone. Each comes in three versions: ring once, repeat every hour, or repeat every minute. Tap the ? next to "Alarm" in the app to see the list.

How do I stop a repeating alarm?

Open the app. A card shows the alarm that went off — tap Dismiss Alarm. To silence everything at once, tap the bell button at the bottom of the event list and choose Turn Off All.

Why did my repeating alarm stop after a while?

iOS limits how many reminders an app can schedule in advance. An hourly alarm is scheduled 12 times and an every-minute alarm 30 times; opening the app tops them up again. If you leave an alarm unanswered for longer than that, open the app to restart it.

I updated from an older version. Are my notes still there?

Yes. Version 2 reads the same notes your earlier version saved, including flags and alarms. If anything looks wrong, please email us before deleting the app.

How do I reorder or delete events?

Tap Edit and drag the handles to reorder. To delete, swipe an event to the left, or open it and tap Delete Event.

Do my notes sync between devices?

No. Notes are stored only on your iPhone and are included in your normal iCloud or computer backup. See the Privacy Policy.
