Privacy Policy
In short: Simple Event Notes does not collect any data. Your notes and alarms are stored only on your iPhone. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Who we are
Simple Event Notes ("the app") is made by HOME BERRY (Home Berry Shop). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Information stored on your device
The events you create — names, descriptions, flags, alarm dates and alarm levels — are saved in a database inside the app on your iPhone. This information:
- is never sent to us or to anyone else;
- is not used for advertising, analytics or profiling;
- stays on your device until you delete it or delete the app.
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, the app's data is included in that backup by Apple, under your own Apple account settings. We have no access to your backups.
Information we collect
None. The app does not collect personal data, usage data, location, contacts, device identifiers or diagnostics, and it contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software.
Notifications
Alarms are delivered as local notifications scheduled by your iPhone itself. The app asks for permission the first time you set an alarm. No notification content passes through any server. You can change this permission at any time in Settings → Notifications → SimpleEvent.
App Store ratings
The app may occasionally show Apple's standard "Rate this app" prompt. This prompt is provided and handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive any information from it beyond the public ratings and reviews shown on the App Store.
Links to other websites
The About screen contains links to the App Store, our Facebook support page and the website of the icon designer. These open outside the app, and those services have their own privacy policies.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
Your choices
- Delete a single event by swiping it left in the list, or from the event's screen.
- Turn off all alarms with the bell button at the bottom of the list.
- Delete all of the app's data by deleting the app from your iPhone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting data, we will say so here before that version is released.
